June 24

Hello Family! It sounds like everything is going well for you. Mom, I love you bulletin board. It is so cute! You are super creative and I love it. Oh I saw Sister Segera (?) last night. She still talks about you and about her granddaughter in your class. They really liked you! It was fun to see her and I was able to see Sister Fleming, my trainer as well. She is leaving tomorrow. Time has gone by super fast and I am sad that she won't be here any longer, but I will see her after the mission. She was a great example to me and I have learned so much from her. I will never forget her.

Well transfer calls were this weekend. I am staying in Rowland Heights with Sister Lee. I have also been called a Sister Trainer! I have wanted this so much and now I finally have the chance. A Sister Trainer is like a Zone Leader, but over all of the sisters. I will be going to Mission Leadership Conferences and going on exchanges with the other sisters and helping them out with their areas and any other needs that they may have. I will also be helping the Zone Leaders teach Zone Meetings. I am a little nervous for that. Believe it or not, but I still get nervous when I have to get up and talk to a bunch of people. SCARY, but I know that I can do it. I have the Lord on my side and He will be there to comfort me and give me the strength that I need. I am pretty excited and this will be a great experience for me to learn. I can tell already that it is going to help me so much with the things that the Lord is preparing me to do.

This week was another trying week for us sisters. We are still working hard and trying to find all those that the Lord has prepared for us to teach. We were able to see Alex yesterday at church. That was so good. He seems to be doing better. He still is going strong and is  still willing to learn lots. He does want to get baptized still and we plan on talking to him and setting another date. He said that he has had some great experiences with  reading the questions and even writes down his thoughts and impressions. He went back to the Visitor center and had an amazing experience there with his ex-wife. He said that he felt the spirit so much and that he knows that this is where he needs to be right now in his life. Alex recognizes the spirit and the loves the way that he feels every time he reads and comes to church. He talked to us last night about being baptized and he still wants too.  I hope that he will continue to have this great and uplifting and faith growing experiences to help me know and understand that his Heavenly Father loves him and cares about him so much.

Yesterday we were able to watch the world wide broadcast that the prophet and apostles. It was pretty neat. The Lord is defiantly hastening the work here. We learned so much about how important it is to  be unified with each other and with the members of the wards that we are serving in. President Monson said that members and missionaries should come together and act in faith to find those people that the Lord has prepared. My thoughts to this are, when we act in faith, the Lord will show us what to do. He will be with us every step of the way. We need to increase our faith and love the people that we are teaching. I learned so much from this conference and have so many thoughts that it is hard to put into words. I hope that you will be able to watch it online if you weren't able to watch it last night.

I know that this is the only true gospel and that I have been save in this particular time to help the Lord find His lost sheep. I know that Joseph Smith was called a prophet to restore all of the truths. I know that because of my Savior Jesus Christ I can overcome great times of trial in my life. I know that everything that I am facing right now on my mission will help me become a better missionary and a better daughter of my Heavenly Father. I am forever grateful for his atoning sacrifice with out him I would never be able to do this great and hard work as a missionary. I am grateful for families and how we can be together forever and that we can so much from each other while we are here on this earth. There is no greater place then to be in a loving home.

I love you all and I hope that you have a great week. Lots of hugs from me.

P.S. Yes mom I got your package. I loved everything it. The skirt and the shirt is darling. I love it. The shirt is a little big, so I will probably send it back to you. I do love it though. Loved the candy as well. The package came on a day when I needed it the most, so thank you for that.
